When your body and mind need a time-out, there are massage and spa services available at Apple Orchard Park. There is a sauna in both ladies’ and men’s locker rooms to be enjoyed either pre-massage, post-exercise, or while just plain relaxing!
Massage therapists are available by appointment seven days a week. You may select from a wide range of treatments performed in our massage studio or in the privacy of your own home!
April has years of training in yoga and transcendental meditation. She became certified and began teaching in 1991 in Ohio. She has taught at Mercy Hospitals, the Victory Cancer Center, the University of Toledo, the Kerr House Spa as well as other various yoga studios. She also taught prenatal yoga at the Toledo Hospital Birthing Center and was honored to serve as the founder and President of the Northwest Ohio Yoga Teachers Association.

While she enjoys various styles of yoga, her focus is on movement with breath, strengthening and expanding the body’s ultimate capability in a safe and effective environment, honoring each individuals body and needs. She is dedicated to including a deep, healing meditation with each class as a vital part of integrating through yoga.

With 27 years of experience and having earned 6 nationally recognized certifications, I am well qualified to conduct general and specialized training programs including cardiovascular fitness, strength training, flexibility and balance to improve quality of life and/or reach specific goals for clients ranging in age from adolescent to geriatric.
If weight loss is a goal, I can assist with certification through the American Council on Exercise’s Lifestyle and Weight Management program. I also provide nutrition , medical histories and exercise consultations.
My mission is to provide my clients with the most up to date, bio-mechanically correct, safe and effective exercise program possible. To remain current on medical conditions affecting my clients’ physical performance and respond appropriately to those conditions. To maintain a superior level of knowledge regarding current advancements in the science and trends in my field and to incorporate these changes when positive outcomes can result.. To provide my clients with the tools to improve quality of life through exercise, basic nutrition and behavior modification so that they may continue to derive lifelong benefits from their fitness training experience.
Available Services and Consultations:
In Home or Gym Training • $45 - $75
For individuals with in home workout areas, exercise programs catering to your needs and equipment is available. Remember, fully equipped gyms are great, but a good exercise area can be had with minimal expense. Generally, I bring small equipment that would be effective for beginning or low level exercise programs.
Post Rehab Exercise • $45 - $75
After scheduling meetings with your Physical Therapist and receiving clearance from your physician, a program designed to continue forward with post rehabilitation providing appropriate exercise for your particular medical issue as well as full body conditioning can be had in home or in your facility.
Small Group Training • As Low as $15 per person
After one or two individual sessions for each member of the group, small group sessions consisting of no more than 4 exercisers can be quite effective and cost efficient, particularly if all members are good self starters and motivated. Also, Hypnotherapy in small groups has been effective for many people. Get your small group together and save on cost.
Nutrition Consultation • $40
Holding A.C.E. certification in Lifestyle and Weight Management allows me to provide basic nutrition programming, support, motivational information and accountability for your weight control goals. If additional support is necessary, I am certified in and have had great success with hypnotherapy for weight loss.
On-Line, One to One Exercise Programs • $25 per update
For the experienced exerciser or after several private sessions, programming to continue advancing your goals through appropriate progressions via on-line review and communication. Private sessions may be booked as needed to promote proper exercise performance assuring injury free exercise.
Titleist Performance Institute Training
TPI is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. The TPI method has revolutionized the approach to golf, uniting golf and fitness professionals to help maximize the potential of a player. Robin evaluates golfers for golf specific fitness and identifies physical limitations that limit your golf swing and could lead to injury. She then develops a fitness plan specific to your needs and golf fitness goals. Tim Laverty your Trillium PGA professional will be available to assess your golf swing. Robin & Tim will unite to optimize your golf game!
Robin is a Senior Exercise Specialist and dietitian with over 30 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. She is a certified personal trainer accredited by the American College of Sports Medicine. She is also a certified Performance Institute Trainer. She is an accomplished runner and triathlete. Robin is a member of the Atlanta Track Club Elite Team, American College of Sports Medicine and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In 1989 she hiked the entire Appalachian Trail.

Identifying underlying physical limitations to improve your functional fitness and golf swing is the fundamental principle of the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI*) fitness evaluation. The evaluation is golf specific and designed to identify physical limitations that limit your golf swing and could lead to injury. Utilizing the information gathered a customized; golf specific intervention and performance plan is developed for you.
**72 hour cancellation policy or full fee for service will be charged with the exception of illness or injury.
