Amenities, amenities and more amenities. That’s why we purchased in Trillium almost 7 years ago. We don’t use all of the facilities at Trillium ourselves, but at some point one of our many guests or family members that have stayed with us have ventured out to just about every inch of the property. We always eat dinner at least once at either the Landings or the Clubhouse and golf is usually on the program for me. We have gone for a cruise on the lake on one of the Trillium pontoon boats, hiked on many of the nature trails, been horseback riding, canoeing, been to the top of a mountain to watch the sunset (Fantastic!), played tennis (indoors and outdoors), went swimming in the lake as well as the pool, used the exercise facility (first class), taken cooking classes and often attend the Friday evening Street Sweep to meet new friends. We have been fly-fishing, played Croce, and even had great adventures on the garden golf course with those that don’t even play golf. The cool mountain air and views of the mountains are what brought us to Trillium, but it was the list of amenities that got us to want to be a part of Trillium. The Trillium development is like a summer camp for adults. What a great place!! We think it is one of the best and most affordable total package in the Carolinas. Where else could you find challenging golf, fantastic views, indoor and outdoor tennis, a new work-out facility, swimming pool, great food in two remarkable clubhouses, horseback riding, and a competent staff to run it all in one community? How much better can it get?
"The Trillium Ladies Club which is very interactive and provides trips, book clubs, lunches and community service projects to keep the gals involved. There's always something to do, and you can stay as busy as you wish to be. I find Trillium to be a very spiritual place. The chapel, the natural beauty of the mountains and the warmth of the people who reside here all combine to create a special atmosphere of friendliness and joy!"

We joined Trillium back in 2003. We looked at a lot of mountain resort properties in TN, NC, GA and SC. We joined Trillium because of the amenities-the lake, the golf, the tennis and the fitness center. Since we joined, these have all been improved and expanded, except for the Lake, which remains perfect! We believe Trillium amenities are unequaled by any other property in this area. We also liked the youthful and active feel of the Club and its members, the proximity to Atlanta, and the dual Clubhouse offering here. We winter in Naples, FL. and talk to all our friends down there about what Trillium can offer. We have spent Thanksgiving up here and it was just beautiful!
We shopped around and had been to all of the golf communities in the area. What sold us were the owner’s and the members of Trillium, it felt like family. They are always very welcoming to my friends and family, and treat them as if they are part of the club.

“Roger and I felt the Cashiers-Highlands area had so much to offer. We are avid golfers and wanted to find a community that would embrace many of our interests. Trillium has a challenging 18 hole golf course, and a unique walking opportunity on the 9 holes at Chinquapin. We also love the great hiking trails on the property (so does our dog!). Apple Orchard fitness center allows us to work out and enjoy pampering massages. The Club House and Landings offer fun and different dining experiences. We have made new friends and attribute this to the welcoming family atmosphere at Trillium.
